Jorie and the Gold Key’ is a second book of a series that A.H. Richardson wrote of enchantment, adventure and fun. No matter how old your child is they’ll love the continuation of Jorie adventure with Rufus. This book has no barrier of age or gender, wether if you’re a boy or a girl there’s something in this story for you.
This children fantasy tale has a parallel of good and evil. Underneath the tarn to the land of the Wizard Grootmonya in the mythical wonderful land of Cabrynthius. Then to Shyloxia the evil land of Lord Fodomalk who is after poor Jorie again for a magic key. Our young selfless heroes face another daring quest that they face with a young self absorb boy, Nigel who thinks he knows everything and looks down on what he can’t see. Together they enter the tarn and as soon as they are there the story takes a unexpected turn and now they quickly have to find out what the purpose of the key is and rescue Nigel from the evil Fodomalk.
This fantasy book is remarkably outstanding for any gender and all ages. Even though it is written for children there is meaning, a message to be learned. There are some hard words for a young reader but that what makes learning and growing with reading so wonderful, it’s how there mind developed and hunger for more. I also just want to mention how striking and theatrical the cover of the book strikes me, great job. Finally, I highly enjoyed ‘Jorie and the Major Key’, I had a hard time putting the book down knowing the struggles that our young heroine and heroes was up against. I know you’ll enjoy following this epic series as I have and so will you.

A.H. Richardson is a treasured storyteller, whose unlimited imagination conjures up challenging and unforgettable characters, both good and evil, that dare children everywhere to delve into their own imaginations and learn to rely on courage and bravery to win the day. Born in England (yes, there are dragons there too), the author has always loved tales of flying and mythical magical creatures. She once tried to pin wings on her pony, quite sure that he could then fly! She is the daughter of the famous composer, Clive Richardson, who always encouraged her to write, even as a small child. She paints and sculpts, plays guitar, is a linguist, acted in films and on stage, and has trained dressage competitors. She is the proud mother of three grown sons and grandmother to three active, loving grandchildren. At present, she keeps a horse named Amaretto and writes her fabulous fantasies from her adopted home in Tennessee near the picturesque Smoky Mountains. It is there that she writes happily about the indomitable Jorie and her adventures.
